Global warming is the greatest threat facing the human race today because it not only threatens us but all living things on the planet. Without the plants and animals that make up the rest of the natural ecosystem we are bound to find ourselves in deep, serious trouble. We'll be lucky if we can feed ourselves but I think there will be massive starvation.
And what happens when millions of people suddenly need food they cannot get for themselves? Maybe a lot of them will die off but some will take up arms against their neighbors. Global warming is the catalyst for the next world war.
Some days I wonder if the Republicans believe it is their destiny to fight the next world war. They make the dumbest statements about science and God and expect people to believe they know what they are doing. They don't have a clue!
If I were a Republican politician I would be trying to figure out what I could do to help save the planet because when the ecosystem is dead all the donors will be dead too. No more political donors means no more getting re-elected to office.
If you want Republicans to learn about science you're going to have a hard time with that. But if you talk to them about where their next election budget comes from, I'm pretty sure they will sit up and listen. These guys always have their hands out. The Republicans are responsible for running up our nation's debt. They are the lousiest people when it comes to governing a nation.
